Thank you for doing and sharing what you do. I was waiting for someone to say it was a joke. ![]() For example, Phi-Phi O'Hara.) Perhaps the fandom seems too abstract or large to critique, but critiquing Bob and Monet seems illogical when they were the first two who would have helped you with that in the first place. Tamisha has every right to feel bullied, but the real people who she feels vulnerable to are the negative commenters online and the overall fandom, who (I presume) are seen by the contestants as in control of their future (ie, when the fans hate a girl, her career can be ruined by threats, decrease in audience - how drags queens, directly and indirectly make money-, and lack of opportunities. Therefore, Bob and Monet are not people who "sought" to "harm" Tamisha, or even people who accidentally did. Intention aside, even, Bob and Monet have had a positive impact on Tamisha's career and public perception (which her complaints stem from): Bob started a campaign to increase her instagram followers, both bought her products and encouraged their fans to, and told their fans (on this very podcast) how impressed they were with not only her performance, but her as an indivisual. In other words, no critique is given with any intention to the queen herself, but only to provide people who like to listen to Bob and Monet with their especially unique opinions. Every critique is an honest opinion from one of the girl's perspective as previous show contestants, fellow queens, and all around people. Not all of that response is ethical or valid, but Sibling Rivalry most definitely is. Part of going on to the show (as is shown by the obligatory press tour, which even included Monet's show, and the actual WOW produced shows such as fashion photo ru-view) is accepting that people will view your content and respond as they will. A bully is, according to the oxford dictionary, is "a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable." Tamisha is vulnerable, as you guys explained, due to the pressure the show casts onto its participants. I don't usually comment, but no you are not bullies. She knows she doesn’t have to burn bridges with every human to ever exist? Queens you actually don't feature (Elliot with three Ks), generally don't get much attention.Įmbarrassed for the vixen tbh. ![]() And as for fairness, I thought you cut Tamisha more slack than Rose, Tina or even Kandy, and mocked her with the same fondness you had for them. Queens that can't laugh at themselves never fare well on RPDR to be honest, and I'd see this whole scenario as part of that, rather than anything you guys specifically are doing. I *guess* you could say that any critique or joke encourages fans to try to make the same critiques and jokes - and obviously, lots of fans miss the mark and cross the line - but I don't think you encourage that actively and I'd be surprised if many (or any) Sibling Rivalry fans were the ones in Tamisha's mentions giving her shit. I never feel like someone is the butt of a cruel joke but rather mocked in the same way you tease each other. ![]() You're both super self-deprecating and even handed with criticism and making fun of people. ![]() and tamisha deciding to read monet and bob for not liking what she wore on the runway once or twice is just gross negative and completely unnecessary. I dont understand why monet has to defend and explain her opinion. if you think about it in its entirety y'all are MEN in wigs! its never been that serious, its all just fun and enterTAINTment! you guys are giving your opinions about people who are putting themselves out there for critique, but you guys make it funny! she's taking it too seriously. you guys don't come off as mean spirited at all. Im a pretty good judge of character and I've been watching y'all for awhile. i can't stop laughing.īob's wheezing 'Mutley' laugh kills me every single time!!! Had me in tears within 30 seconds □□□□ not Bob "publicly" inviting them in a patreon exclusive
